Three Duke University Doctors visited my Studio and commissioned a drawing of Doctor Leonard Goldner, then Chief of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at Duke University in Durham North Carolina. The drawing of his hands was a retirement gift from his colleagues and was presented at a special dinner in his honor. They also wanted a 200 Limited edition fine art print of the image to raise funds for the hospital in his name. They sent me a hundred pictures of his hands and I chose to point to the two operations that he invented: one to release the thumbs of Cerebral Palsy children's hands and the other to correct the club feet of affected children. I was so impressed with this very special doctor that I was nervous and took two months to complete the drawing and even more so when it was presented to him.

Hello everyone. My name is June Pauline Zent and I have been working at my art since I was about six years old. At first with pencil, then colored pencil and later watercolor, oil, and pastel. I have also been a teacher of all of these mediums for many years both public in schools, colleges, galleries and privately in my studio. I have won more than my share of awards and honors and commissions from famous people and Institutions. Now I just want to market my prints by myself with the help of old and new friends. The question most often asked is why I don't stick to a few subjects and present a more unified body of work.
