Artist's Description
This painting is on a lake in my friends Paradise Gardens. I painted the houseboat on the lake because I always wanted to live in one. The painting was entered in a major national contest sponsored by Masterpiece Canvas in San Francisco and they also used one of my images in their advertising. The boathouse won third place which I was kind of proud of considering the amount of entries. I still would love to live in a boathouse!

Hello everyone. My name is June Pauline Zent and I have been working at my art since I was about six years old. At first with pencil, then colored pencil and later watercolor, oil, and pastel. I have also been a teacher of all of these mediums for many years both public in schools, colleges, galleries and privately in my studio. I have won more than my share of awards and honors and commissions from famous people and Institutions. Now I just want to market my prints by myself with the help of old and new friends. The question most often asked is why I don't stick to a few subjects and present a more unified body of work.
