Artist's Description
I intended this drawing to represent the ocean and a aquarium combined and included so many animals that my hand went numb. The artwork is large: a 30X40 board which like all of my colored pencil pieces start with a white linen board. It took some time but I stood back and said, " I like it " Hope that you do as well!
About June Pauline Zent
Hello everyone. My name is June Pauline Zent and I have been working at my art since I was about six years old. At first with pencil, then colored pencil and later watercolor, oil, and pastel. I have also been a teacher of all of these mediums for many years both public in schools, colleges, galleries and privately in my studio. I have won more than my share of awards and honors and commissions from famous people and Institutions. Now I just want to market my prints by myself with the help of old and new friends. The question most often asked is why I don't stick to a few subjects and present a more unified body of work. The answer is I believe that you will find unity in my work if you look for it like most art and I paint what inspires...

No Hiroko it is a colored pencil drawing that starts with a white Lenin board and takes a long to execute especially because this board is 30X40 inch But I don't always work that large with colored pencil. I just had a lot of animals to include! So glad that you like it ad L/F
