Artist's Description
The original of this image hangs in the cancer wing of Palm Beach/Martin County Medical Center in South Florida. A commission by one of the founders who also ordered a Limited first edition. Here I have released a archival open edition in several sizes so all can own the prints.
The edition ordered by the hospital was 200
images the same size as the original sold for $ 200.00 each with proceeds benefiting the hospital. As the artist I supervised the printing and delivered them to the hospital.
About June Pauline Zent
Hello everyone. My name is June Pauline Zent and I have been working at my art since I was about six years old. At first with pencil, then colored pencil and later watercolor, oil, and pastel. I have also been a teacher of all of these mediums for many years both public in schools, colleges, galleries and privately in my studio. I have won more than my share of awards and honors and commissions from famous people and Institutions. Now I just want to market my prints by myself with the help of old and new friends. The question most often asked is why I don't stick to a few subjects and present a more unified body of work. The answer is I believe that you will find unity in my work if you look for it like most art and I paint what inspires...

Maria Valladarez
You warm my heart with this gorgeous image. What a masterful artistic challenge to do these hands.
June Pauline Zent replied:
Thank you so much Maria. No subject is too difficult if you love it and hands say so much without the trappings of faces or figures. They allow the viewer to identify and put themselves into the artwork. Besides they are my favorite subject. Thank you for your uplifting compliments!

How beautiful! As a cancer survivor, I know how healing a loving touch can be. l/f
June Pauline Zent replied:
Kay, This drawing 30x40 inches was commissioned by Palm Beach Martian County Medical Center in Florida. At the time one of the founders of the hospital posed for the male hand and hung the original in the new CANCER center! I produced a 200 limited edition hand signed print for them to raise funds for the cancer center. It has helped many people and I am proud of that. I thought you might like to know the back story and thank you for your very touching and approbate comment!
