Artist's Description
This drawing was started in the median of US1 in Palm Beach County while guarding Survey Equipment
for my son while he was off doing a survey. I had to put up with the traffic, horns, and occasional wolf whistle. But I persevered and made good progress.It is a good thing that linen board is thick enough to prop on a box and work. With drawings I always start on a white linen board. It slowly developed while I was helping my son over about two weeks avoiding pop up rain showers and heat like you would not believe. A good deal of it was done in the survey truck. Got it done and my son got a helper so thankfully I went back to my studio in Jupiter with a least a new piece of artwork. Actually My son paid me very well and back then it helped!

Hello everyone. My name is June Pauline Zent and I have been working at my art since I was about six years old. At first with pencil, then colored pencil and later watercolor, oil, and pastel. I have also been a teacher of all of these mediums for many years both public in schools, colleges, galleries and privately in my studio. I have won more than my share of awards and honors and commissions from famous people and Institutions. Now I just want to market my prints by myself with the help of old and new friends. The question most often asked is why I don't stick to a few subjects and present a more unified body of work. The answer is I believe that you will find unity in my work if you look for it like most art and I paint what inspires...
