Description
After I finished the oil painting Cat Dancing and Dancing I just was not ready to leave this darling and friendly filly so I painted this Image for myself. The female human figure is completely made up with just my feelings for Dancing as reference.

This is such a beautiful pastel, filled with love and affection. The composition is original and very strong, and the fact that you don’t show the girl’s face adds a ton of mystery and interest.
June Pauline Zent replied:
Actually, this is me at a young age and the only self portrait I have ever done. Very glad that you l like it Anne
June Pauline Zent replied:
Anne, I mistook this painting with Water Love which is the only self portrait. Not showing the face lets anyone hug this philly including me. The girl is completely made up for that reason. Thanks for being insightful and for your great compliments.

oh Pauline, how touching and moving this really is. What a lovely heartfelt picture. Were you actually able to really hold the filly? if you did, I would have loved to do so myself. I love love it and always want to get close to a horse, especially young babies.
June Pauline Zent replied:
Sabina, It's more like the little Philly was touching me. I was afraid of her mother Cat Dancing but the painting was how I felt. The girl is completely made up. So I guess it could be me or YOU, or anyone who loves horses. Thank you for your beautiful compliment!
